Data & Information Disclaimer
The short version
- Public sources only. Every figure in LithiumOps comes from information that is already public. We do not hold or sell confidential data.
- Coverage is partial by nature. A subscription buys access to what we have compiled — not a promise that a specific project, field or number exists in the platform.
- Figures are as reported. Resources, grades, CAPEX, OPEX and NPV are what the issuer published, not values we independently audited.
- Locations are approximate. Map points orient you; they are not surveyed coordinates or concession boundaries.
- Not advice. Verify against the primary source before any investment, technical or commercial decision.
1. Where our information comes from
All content published in LithiumOps is compiled from publicly available sources. We do not obtain, hold, publish or commercialise confidential, proprietary, privileged or insider information.
Our primary source categories are:
- Technical reports published under recognised reporting codes — NI 43-101, JORC, S-K 1300 — and their supporting studies (Scoping, PEA, PFS, DFS);
- Regulatory and stock-exchange filings, annual reports, quarterly results and material-event disclosures;
- Corporate presentations, press releases and official company websites;
- Government, geological-survey and mining-registry databases;
- Peer-reviewed scientific and technical literature;
- Publicly published news outlets and sector press.
What LithiumOps adds is the work of compiling, cross-checking, normalising, structuring and visualising that dispersed public material so it can be consulted in one place. That editorial and engineering effort is the product — the underlying facts remain public.
2. Coverage is not, and cannot be, complete
Access to LithiumOps — free or paid — does not guarantee that the specific information you are looking for is available in the platform.
Coverage is limited by two factors we do not control: what companies, regulators and governments have actually disclosed publicly, and the capacity of our team to locate, process and validate that material. Both evolve continuously.
In practice this means:
- Not every lithium project in the world is included, and new projects are added progressively;
- Detail is uneven — some projects carry full economics and resource statements, others only location, owner and stage, because that is all that has been published;
- Some fields will be empty for a given project. An empty field means "not publicly available or not yet processed", not "zero";
- Records may be added, corrected, merged, reclassified or removed at any time as sources are updated;
- Modules described as planned or "coming soon" may change scope or be discontinued.
If a specific scope of coverage is essential for your work, we recommend evaluating the platform on the Free Plan or contacting us at contact@lithiumops.com before subscribing. See Section 5 of the Terms of Service.
3. Accuracy, estimates and derived values
3.1 Reported figures
Technical and economic figures — mineral resources and reserves, grades, tonnages, brine chemistry, recovery rates, CAPEX, OPEX, NPV, IRR, production capacity, life of mine and project timelines — are reproduced as reported by their original issuer. Many are preliminary, conditional, based on assumptions that may not materialise, or subject to later restatement. We do not independently audit them and we are not a qualified person or competent person under any mineral-reporting code.
3.2 Values produced by LithiumOps
Where we harmonise units, convert between lithium compounds (for example LCE conversions), apply categorisations, compute intensities or build rankings and comparisons, those outputs are derived interpretations built on the reported figures. They are informational aids, not verified facts, and different methodological choices would produce different results.
3.3 Geographic information
Coordinates, markers, extents and map layers are approximate and intended for orientation only. They do not represent surveyed positions, legal concession boundaries, property rights, tenure status or permitted areas, and must never be used for navigation, land transactions, permitting or field operations.
3.4 Market and news content
Prices, quotes, charts and news headlines are supplied by third parties, may be delayed, adjusted or erroneous, and are displayed for reference only. Third-party content remains subject to the terms of its provider.
3.5 Timeliness
The platform is updated periodically, not in real time. A record may not reflect the most recent public disclosure. Where a date of reference is shown, it indicates the vintage of the underlying source, not the date of your consultation.
4. Reporting an error
We take data quality seriously. If you believe a figure, classification or location is wrong or outdated, write to contact@lithiumops.com with the record and, where possible, the public source that supports the correction. We review every report in good faith, but we do not commit to a specific correction timeframe.
If you represent a company and consider that content relating to your assets is inaccurate, you may request a review through the same address, indicating the public source you would like us to rely on.
5. Not professional or investment advice
LithiumOps is an information tool. Nothing in the platform constitutes investment, financial, trading, tax, legal, accounting, engineering, geological, metallurgical or environmental advice, nor a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or asset, nor a valuation or technical report.
Any decision you take is your own, at your sole risk, and should be based on your independent review of primary sources and, where appropriate, on qualified professional advice. See Section 13 and Section 15 of the Terms of Service, which govern liability.
6. Attribution and third-party rights
Company names, project names, trademarks and logos referenced in the platform belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Their appearance does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement or any commercial relationship with LithiumOps.
Our compilation, structure and presentation of public information is protected as a database and editorial work — see Section 11 of the Terms of Service.
